Gang, it’s come to our attention that there is an audio problem on side 1 of Volume 1 of the Kill The Musicians vinyl. Some of you have noticed it and some haven’t, but in any case, it’s a problem that affects the entire side of the record. I apologize for this. It shouldn’t have happened, and I feel like a horse’s ass for not catching it.
If you ordered the record through our Merchtable site, you should have received an e-mail notification from them earlier this afternoon letting you know we’re aware of the problem and are working on a fix. If you didn’t get that e-mail, please check your spam folder. If you ordered from Recess, you’ll be getting an e-mail from them, if you haven’t already.
Todd at Recess Records and I worked through this past weekend and the beginning of the week with Justin Perkins, our mastering engineer, to determine what went wrong and how to fix it. I’m sorry I don’t have any more information for you at the moment, but just know this is the top priority for both me and Todd and will be until it’s resolved. I know he feels as lousy about it as I do, and we’re devoting all our time and energy to a solution that will enable us to get replacement copies in your hands in a reasonable timeframe. Please keep an eye out for follow-up e-mails from Merchtable or Recess, depending on who you ordered from. And again, my apologies.
